White people: gays are just trying to get sympathy. They don’t actually face violence. We shouldn’t be forced to interact with them. It’s against my religion.
The very same white people: you better thank us whites for making homosexuality legal. We’re not like those primitive countries that still oppress gay people. Whites made homosexuality accepted. If you were in Africa you wouldn’t have such an easy time being gay.

So you’re saying people should be forced to interact with each other and that not wanting to interact with gays is the equivalent of institutionally oppressing them to the point of death sentences for existing?
